Ways Shelters Help Animals

The way I think that shelter help animals is by giving them at least a place to stay. And also keeping them safe from almost everything. From what i know most animal shelters feed the animals. And i don't know one animal shelter that does not feed there animals. Plus I'm sure people working at the animal shelters do the best they can to help them find homes. And I know we all hear stories of how animal shelters mistreat there animals. But on the low I really don't think its true and I agree its sad to see those animals there. And of course there not gonna be happy locked in cages no one will be.But they are way safer then them just being homeless of on the streets. But thats some of the reasons I think animal shelters help there animals.
